Horseshoe under threat

The Horseshoe ~ Combe DownIt seems that the Horseshoe pub in North Road, Combe Down is the latest Bath Pub under threat. Property developers Elysan have applied for planning permission to convert the building into five flats. The pub has been closed since August.

The Horseshoe has been a pub since 1875.

This potential change of use follows hard on the news that the Brains Surgery in Larkhall has been granted planning permission to be conveted into flats.

Other pubs in Bath that are currently up for sale include One Beaufort on the London Road, the Victoria Works on the Lower Bristol Road (which is currently shut), the Northend Inn, and the Bladud's Head in Larkhall.
