Assembly Inn completes refurbishment

Assembly Inn ~ BathA major refurbishment of the Assembly Inn in the centre of Bath has just been completed by Abbey Inns, the pub-owning subsidiary of Abbey Ales, the city’s only brewery.

Situated on Alfred Street – just off the Lansdown Road – it is one of four pubs currently operated by the company.

Said Alan Morgan, managing director of Abbey Ales, “It is a comprehensive refurbishment and one which we have completed in partnership with Punch Taverns. The new manager is Frances Haley, who was previously at the Pig and Fiddle in Bath, and she has engaged a complete new team to work with her at the Assembly.

“I am looking forward to the challenge,” said Fran. “The Assembly is known by everybody in Bath and we aim to take it back to its glory days.…
