Food not good. Not like Spain and came cold. Service slow and not happy. Very expensive as well. Not good, I not go more.
GLORIA,THE NEXT MOUNTH IF THIS RESTAURANT GETS MY SERVICES YOUR MINDS WILL CHANGE,I WILL COOK FOR YOU INFINITY SPANISH FOOD TIPICAL OR MODERN ANY WAY.YOUR TASTE RELIVE.
Been to la perla and loved it. Gloria you are talking s… . Go to la tasca if you cannot affor it.
What a change to the old Flamenca. At last a restaurant that gives good modern Spanish food and not the previous rubbish! Here we at last have two professional chef from Spain who know their business.
Gloria I bet you have never been in Spain and your just messing around. To be honest with you guys, this restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Bath at the moment in terms of food, service and prices (and believe me, I know what I am talking about). I have been there in La Perla a couple of times already and I was blown away by the food and how quickly it got to our table. Staff members were very polite and they were smiling all the time. I will sure come back. All the best
I’ve been there last week and i can say that i had a wonderful night!!the food was amazing full of flavours and colours polite stuff.. generally a very friendly environment!! I totally recommend it .Excellent work guys keep it up …we need something new and fresh in Bath
We went here on the weekend and had an absolutely great night! Food was delicious with good variety.
Most impressive was the restaurants decor. Will definitely return on our next visit to Bath.
(if you can, get a seat at the bar over the kitchen, watching the chefs delicately prepare each dish while sipping a nice rose makes for a top evening)
Food not good, definitely not real Spanish. Service very rude. We miss the real Spain from La Flamenca.
How can you compare la Perla with la Flamenca. La Flamenca was bad that’s why there is no more Flamenca. Food awful and old fashion.
Love la Perla and I feel like I’m in Spain. Lovely food, amazing taste, good looking dishes, clean.
At last a good Spanish restaurant that I can be proud of being Spanish.
Ah, great service. Lovely girls working in la Perla. Guapas!!!
I have been reading all the coments,I am Spanish and I live in Bath too many years.I have been in La Perla a few weeks ago and I think is not fair you talk like this about the restaurant, they are Spanish chefs, they cook a great paella and the desserts are amazing. It is a good quality and the restaurant is very nice and they take care all the details and sorry but the food is like in Spain and of course is your choise If you don’t like don’t go more.
Regards!
What an amazing place. Looks great, food was awesome. I had a paella and was the best paella we ever had. Love Spain and now I’m in love with la Perla. La Flamenca was bad and old fashion, hate it. Been once and never again. I can’t believe all this bad comments. Weird.
AVOID THIS RESTURANT
1.Rude waitress
2. Being watched whilst eating by waitress
3. Burnt paella
Also the Paella was not clear that you would be charged twice for 2 people.
Never eaten a tapas like it it was awful.
irish…whatever..!!! before start talking you are wrong!!!!you know just nothing about spanish food!!!paella is burnt on purpose and this called La Soccarat
Paella’s finishing touch, La Soccarat, is the most simple yet most elusive part of the process. La Soccarat is the slightly burned crust of rice on the bottom of the Paella pan Why would you intentionally burn the rice? Well first, it is only a slight burn, and second, because it adds an orchard-like authenticity to your Paella that you’re sure to remember for weeks.Legend has it that to achieve a good Soccarat, you should turn up the heat when the Paella is near completion, and then . . . listen closely . . . and the Paella will start to crackle ever so subtley. you are a bad person without knowledge don’t speak anymore please…so you missed the best part of paella because you thing that you know ‘ everything’…i feel sorry for you!!!everybody became foodexpert …instead to be a critic go and enjoy the moment eating with friends..believe me it”s by far better!
I LOVE THIS PLACE .THE FOOD IS AMAZING ,STAFF ARE ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND YOU ARE ALWAYS MADE TO FEEL WELCOMED . I WISH ALEX AND MICHAELA THE BEST OF LUCK FOR THE FUTURE . THATS WHY I GO THERE TWICE A WEEK FOR GENUINE SPANISH FOOD .
Due to the suspiciously polarised views in some of the comments which I don’t think represent true feedback I’m turning off the reply function for a while.
