Save Bath’s Historic Pubs

The Inn at Freshford is calling on Bath & North East District Council (BANES) to produce new guidelines to better protect the city’s historic public houses from closure and developers – ensuring they can only close and be redeveloped for housing or offices if they are no longer used by the community.

In light of the recent closure of The Packhorse Inn in the neighbouring village of South Stoke, we want BANES to publically and effectively stand-by the city’s historic pubs.

The petition to help safeguard Bath’s historic pubs and business growth in the city and surrounding area can be found at http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/bath/
