Longacre Tavern in 2010 heavily boarded up. It closed in 2009 after the landord Mervyn Thomas retired.

The Longacre Tavern in the last stages of conversion into a Dominos Pizza outlet. 15th January 2011.

There has been a pub on this London Road site since the 1840s, though the present building is a classic example of late 1960s design.
